Choronzon is one of the Chaos Demon Gods created by Baal to fight the Celestial Guardians.

In CHAOS, Choronzon is trapped on the planet Marz, underground, in a place known as the Dark Area. Choronzon's fragments have transformed the area into a deathtrap filled with wild monstrosities.
Upon landing on Marz, Kai senses Choronzon's presence, which leads him and the party to the Dark Area. After most of the party is wiped out, Kai and the remaining party members encounter Choronzon who is able to slightly regenerate thanks to Kai.
Choronzon asks Kai to revive him so that they, along with the other Chaos Demon Gods may destroy the Celestial Guardians. Kai rebuffs the offer and leaves. Lindsey Kate Lawson secretly returns and absorbs Choronzon causing the Dark Area to become unstable as well as alerting the other Chaos Demon Gods of their location.
Baphomet soon appears and battles Kai out of anger of Choronzon's death.
